What is AMC?
An annual maintenance contract is an agreement between a client and a Modarnet that sets expectations for the on going maintenance of IT equipment (listed only*) that client owns.
We prodive AMC plans in which we cover the listed* (List of dvices under the AMC plan) as per the terms & conditions of the plan.There are two plan we offer.
What plans are offered?
1. Comprehensive – This plan covers everything including the Hardware and services.
2. Non-Comprehensive – This plan cover only service the cost of Harware will be paid be the customer.
AMC Terms and Conditions*
We guarantee the product coverd under the AMC Plan.
A. The claim will have to be made within the AMC period.
B. We will repair or replace any defective parts and correct any problems resulting from poor
workmanship free of charge. We reserve the right to use reconditioned parts with performance
parameters equal to those of new parts in connection with any services performed under limited
AMC.
C. Onsite service will be limited to the customer location, and may be chargeable if customer wants the
service onsite.
AMC Limitations
A. The AMC is not transferable from one user/customer to another.
B. The AMC does not cover replacement of the Personal Computer (PC)C. We will not be responsible for loss of data on the PC under any circumstances. Customers are
encouraged to back up all data stored on the hard disk of their Acer India PC before giving the PC for
service.
D. We do not warranty the operation of any or all the software programs pre-loaded or added.
E. We do not entail a AMC of functionality or any obligation to repair or replace a defective computer, if that defect is a result of physical breakage, improper installation or connections, electrical
F. Faults external to the product, software induced problems (eg. Virus attacks), abuse or unauthorized
modification of the product.
G. Any service, repair or replacement not within the scope of coverage shall be subject to the rates and
terms of the ASP performing such service.
AMC does not apply to
A. Cracked glass panel on monitor, LCD screen or damage caused by too much pressure exerted on the LCD.
B. Defects or damage caused due to virus attack
C. Parts requiring replacement due to normal wear and tear, corrosion, rust, stain, etc.,
D. Damage or loss of any programs, data or removable storage media including any consequential loss
or damage
E. Damages caused due to acts of God & force majeure.
F. Damage caused by a non-authorized service provider or self-repair;
G. Products or parts with an altered identification label or from which the identification label has been
removed.
H. liquid spilled on or in unit, drops, falls and other similar impact, electrical surge, damaged or broken
